ITF tournament in Carson,USA

ITF- Grade I International Spring Championship in Carson for boys and girls 16’s and 18’s

Russian qualifier Roman Safiullin who trains in San Diego won the tournament (16’s) defeating in the final 6-7, 6-3, 6-1 Francis Tiafoe(USA), who is the last Les Petits As champion.
In the girls (16’s) final 15-year old Jessica Ho won 6-1, 6-1 against 14-year old Emma Higuchi in just over one hour.
In the boys (18’s) final 14-year old Stefan Kozlov saved five match points but wasn’t able to close up the match in his favor. His rival four years older Mitchel Krueger won in two strait sets 6-3, 6-4.
In the girls final (18’s) Allie Kiick (USA) won her first grade I ITF tournament beating Chalena Scholl(USA) 6-0, 6-2.
