Les Petit As- Tarbes, France- premier world tournament for juniors aged 12-14

This year young American Frances Tiafoe won in singles final against William Blumberg of USA 6-0 ; 6-2. Week earlier Tiafoe won in England The Teen Tennis singles title as well. With his partner Michel Mmon he won the doubles title at Les Petit As beating Ponwith and Blumberg in all American final.

In a girls final Jacqueline Cristian upset No 4 seed Tornado Black of USA 6-2 ; 6-3. Tornado Black had more success in girls doubles winning the title with her American fellow Nicole Frenkel.

Previous winners of this prestigious international tournament include:Michael Chang (1986), Rafael Nadal (2000), Martina Hingis (1991/92), Kim Clijsters (1997), Dinara Safina (2000).
